Hi, I’m Rob Barber.
First and foremost, I’m a husband, a dad, and a very proud grandfather. Family means everything to me. We’re a close-knit bunch, and wherever possible, we live a naturist lifestyle — something we’re all proud of and treat with care, respect, and a healthy dose of humour.
I’ve got a few passions that keep me going:
- My RC car collection and the little shed I call my workshop
- Writing — especially the fictional book I’m working on, based on our naturist life at a holiday home in southern Germany
- Small business ventures, from property and lettings to vending machines and eBay sales
- And of course, our beloved dog Buttons, who’s as much a part of the family as anyone
Life hasn’t always been easy — I’ve faced more than my fair share of health challenges: chronic rheumatoid arthritis, prostate cancer, hernia surgery, and a long list of things that would slow most people down. But I’ve learned to adapt, to push through, and to find strength in routine, humour, and purpose.
These days, I’m focusing more on eating better, living lighter, and doing more of what matters — whether that’s building an RC car with my grandkids, writing a new chapter of my book, or sitting outside with a cup of tea (or a whisky) in hand, watching the world go by.
This website brings everything together — my thoughts, my ventures, my progress — not to show off, but to keep moving forward and maybe share something useful or uplifting along the way.
